WORKSHOPS
AUDIO PRODUCTION
Pro-tools will become your best friend! Amplify your soundscapes by recording and produce original audio compositions during our Summer Studio workshop for this program.
CULINARY ARTS/CULINARY MANAGEMENT
In this workshop, you will receive instruction in our professional kitchens from accomplished chefs with extensive hands-on training. This workshop will cover everything from delicious recipes to sustainable purchasing.
DESIGN & TECHNICAL GRAPHICS
Explore exciting career opportunities in product development! In this workshop, students will explore the design process by learning about computer-aided design, computer-aided manufacturing, concept development, design rendering, graphic design and prototyping. Students will have the opportunity to see their wonderful ideas come to life.
DESIGN MANAGEMENT
If you are an innovative thinker and a natural leader, this workshop is for you. Through a hands-on project, students will learn how to be creative, investigate the business of design, and explore exciting career opportunities in Design Management.
DIGITAL FILMMAKING & VIDEO PRODUCTION
You love film, and love to tell a story with words and visuals. Use this opportunity to write, produce, shoot, and edit a digital film during our Summer Studio workshop for this program.
FASHION DESIGN/FASHION RETAIL MANAGEMENT
Learn more about exciting career opportunities in fashion. Explore fashion illustration, fashion styling, visual merchandising, textile art, and retailing in small boutiques as well as high-end fashion stores.
GRAPHIC DESIGN
In this workshop, students will experience different projects such as bookbinding and poster design. Industrial applications will be used such as Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator. Students will work together as a team in a creative environment to complete their final project.
INTERIOR DESIGN
Interior Design is all about enriching the lives of others by creating environments where form and function merge. This workshop will teach you the elements of design, including color and space planning,
with a special emphasis on furniture, materials, and textiles.
MEDIA ARTS & ANIMATION/VISUAL EFFECTS & MOTION GRAPHICS/GAME ART & DESIGN
You will have the opportunity to learn how motion graphics and 3D animation integrate into the production development of a short digital film. Use your creativity to collaborate with other students and produce attention-grabbing animation and visual effects.
PHOTOGRAPHY
In this workshop, you will have the opportunity to work with provided digital cameras and Adobe Lightroom software to photograph and edit images. You will participate in location and studio photo shoots to produce a portfolio of your images.
WEB DESIGN & INTERACTIVE MEDIA
In this workshop, students will experience designing and building websites. The class will review web design standards that are crucial to effective web design and development. Students will be involved in designing navigational aids and effective layouts, working with web based fonts, and learning how to host a website.
